Beehive Lilac Pentas Seeds

Pentas Beehive Lilac is a pollinator magnet that brings soft color and nonstop blooms to sunny garden spaces. This heat-loving annual produces dense clusters of star-shaped, lilac-purple flowers that bloom continuously from mid spring through summer, making it a perfect choice for attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds all season long.

Unlike traditional pentas, Beehive Lilac offers a compact, well-branched habit, reaching just 8 to 12 inches tall and spreading 8 to 12 inches wide. Its tidy growth makes it ideal for containers, garden beds, borders, and butterfly gardens?anywhere you want lasting color that is virtually maintenance free. Summer heat? No problem for Beehive Lilac. It thrives in summer heat and continues to bloom during the summer when other plants are taking a break.

To grow, start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before your last frost date. Transplant into the garden or containers and water regularly until established. Plants are tidy and self-cleaning, so no deadheading is required.

Beyond its soft, elegant color, it serves as a vital food source for pollinators and delivers season-long performance with minimal care. Its smaller size is perfect for urban gardens, raised beds, and patio containers.

This seed comes as a “pellet”. “Pelleted” seeds are small seeds that have been clay-coated to make them larger and more uniform in size and shape, making them easier to handle when planting.
