Care

General Maintenance: Repot once the plant has become rootbound. Can prune, but be careful not to over-prune this plant as this can cause death.

Temperature: Not generally picky on temperature, but keep above 5C.

Light: Needs bright indirect light, with some full sun. Morning sun is usually preferred.

Watering: Keep consistently moist. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. Water less frequently in the winter.

Fertilizer: Use a diluted liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (May – Aug). Do not fertilize directly after repotting, or during the winter.

Soil: Well-draining soil is preferred. Bonsai like their soil to be on the acidic side.
