Mixed Dried Grass Bunch

If you want to capture the feeling of a late summer walk through the fields, this mixed bunch is the answer. We have curated a blend of our favourite British grasses to create a ready-made bouquet of texture, movement, and natural warmth.

This bunch combines the soft, fluffy heads of Bunny Tails (Lagurus) with the golden structure of Wheat and the graceful, dangling lockets of Oats or Quaking Grass. The result is a harmonious mix of oatmeal, cream, and golden-straw tones that fits perfectly into any interior style, from modern Scandi minimalism to rustic farmhouse chic.

What’s in the Bunch?

Each hand-tied bunch is a unique mix of seasonal grasses, typically including:

• Bunny Tails (Lagurus): Soft, fluffy, cream-coloured tufts that add instant cuteness and texture.
• Dried Wheat (Triticum): Sturdy, golden architectural stems that provide height and structure.
• Wild Oats (Avena): Elegant, arching stems with hanging seed heads that add movement.
• Canary Grass (Phalaris): Neat, oval seed heads that add a different shape to the mix.

Styling Ideas

This mixed bunch is designed to be “vase ready”:

• The Solo Vase: Just pop the whole bunch into a ceramic jug or clear glass vase. The different heights and textures create an instant arrangement.
• The Base Layer: Use this bunch as the foundation for a larger display. Add a few stems of dried Lavender or colourful Statice to customize the look.
• Wreath Making: Separate the stems and weave them into a wreath base. The different grass shapes create a stunning, wild-looking texture.

Perfect Dried Companions

Add a splash of colour to this neutral mix with:

• Dried Lavender: The Scented Pop. A few stems of blue lavender look beautiful against the golden grasses, adding fragrance and a touch of colour.
• Strawflowers (Helichrysum): The Jewel Tones. Tuck vibrant pink or orange strawflowers into the grass bunch for a festive, harvest-style arrangement.

Natural Shedding
Some grasses (especially Lagurus) can shed a little fluff when moved. This is normal! To reduce this, you can give the bunch a very light mist of hairspray to hold everything in place.
