Cucumis melo

80 days. Very popular in France, this melon was cultivated for centuries by the Carmelite monks who it is named for. Round, ribbed, and about 8 inches in diameter, this melon makes the perfect dish to serve vanilla ice cream in when halved! Juicy orange flesh, these plants are very productive!

How to grow it:

Germ Temp	Indoor Start	Germ Days	Frost Tolerant	Sun	Seed Depth	Plant/Row Spacing
65-95	3 w.	3-13 d.	No	Full	1/2	18/24

Plant 1-2″ deep in small mounds 24″ apart. Melons are heavy feeders, provide fertility throughout the season.
