From the golden days of gardening, heirloom seeds have been saved and treasured through the generations.

Sow in seed trays or direct where they are to grow, 6mm deep. Prepare soil well by adding organic material and fertiliser. Keep soil moist. Water daily and when the first truss has set, feed regularly. Pinch out the side shoots as they appear. Seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. Sow in spring to summer.
